Editorial policy
United Match Journal aims to be clear about what it says and how it says it. We distinguish explanation from opinion, check factual details before publication and welcome specific corrections from readers.
Accuracy and clarity
We take care with names, dates, quotations and descriptions of customs. When a point is uncertain or interpretations differ, we aim to say so rather than make a sweeping claim. Our writing is intended to inform and invite thought, not to determine whether a relationship or introduction is right for any reader.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any sponsored or partner material is identified clearly where it appears, so readers can tell when a piece or placement has a commercial connection. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, contact us through the Contact page and point to the passage and the correction you believe is needed. We review specific, checkable concerns and amend material when warranted. We aim to make meaningful corrections visible to readers.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. We do not present illustrative images as documentary photographs, and we label them where their nature could otherwise be unclear.
A match is a beginning, not a conclusion.
We look at the customs and choices around introductions with curiosity, while leaving room for people to decide what connection means to them.
